Kerala Government's Decision On Maradu Highrises Shatters Confidence Of Buyers

On 3^rd January 2019 this the report of KOCHI state government regarding to non-filing of review petition and implementation of said Supreme court order of demolition of four apartment complexes at Maraud, home buyers in Kochi are a panicked a lot. The people who are planning to buy apartments in the city are continuously calling to officials for apartments projects completion because they have already invested a lot over this project.The Supreme Court had on May 8 ordered the demolition of the he four high-rises, citing the violation of Coastal Regulation.

A former member of Kochi corporation’s town planning committeesaid about how the department warned buyers to not buy the apartments when a builder ran into trouble over violation of CRZ norms. It is still unclear how the buyers decided to invest in such projects, even after issued warning. Getting report by experts from IIT Madras on the environmental impact on the building will definitely leads to disruption.
All minds of violations were paid by fines as state by former town planning committee of Kerala (chairperson). list of violators was forwarded to Maradu panchayat.
