Injustice Prevails: Property Dealer Gets Abducted And Thrashed In Deoria Jail

Uttar Pradesh witnesses utter lawlessness, injustice and the hegemony of muscle power in its capital Lucknow. A property dealer from Krishnanagar got abducted by Atiq Ahmad’s men and thrashed him after takin him to Deoria jail. Later it was found that post the thrashing the property dealer was dumped near his house in Lucknow.

It was after much speculation that the victim named Mohit Jaiswal filed a police complaint against Atiq Ahmad and his son Umar who has also been accused of the commission of the crime of kidnapping and assaulting him. The sources have revealed that on 26^th December 2018 Jaiswal was abducted from Gomti Nagar river front post which he was taken to Deoria Jail where he was thrashed by 25 men.

This however reflects sheer failure of the law and order in the state. For allocation of the evidences SP had mentioned that the CCTV footage would be scrutinized and other evidences would be gathered. SP Deora has also been asked to submit a report by IG Gorakhpur Zone named JN Singh, this would lead to more transperancy in the entire investigation process catering to justice and good governance of the system.
