Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has come up with the new revised master plan 2031 offering a blueprint for the development of the Bangalore city by 2031. The previous master plan was up to 2015 which was planned on 2000 & revised on 2003. Bangalore has been declared as the World's most dynamic city by JLL’s fourth annual City Momentum Index during January 2017. It has become a hub for Investments due to Business growth factors, Education, job opportunities, Entrepreneurship & innovation environment factors. It is a positive note that Bangalore has been recognized at the global scenario mainly due to external factors due to Manpower & Investments coming from outside . This has led to several questions on the sustainability of Bangalore, how long the capital has the potential to provide necessary infrastructure to continuous flow of external factors till 2031.
In order to provide infrastructure in terms of road, metro connectivity, water facilities & electricity there would be heavy flow of investments from Government & it suggests a new rule to increase in collection of taxes & taking huge loans from the World Bank & so. Thus making Karnataka a developing state with debt ridden condition. Karnataka Government should plan the development in the decentralized perspective to diverge these external factors to other districts so that there would be an equilibrium development in the entire state, create the necessary conducive infrastructure for these external factors & make the people in other districts of Karnataka flourish.
