Recently, there was a huge chaos regarding the boundary wall of the U.P Haj Office which was opposite to the State legislature building in the heart of the city Lucknow. This was brought to light because of the boundary wall of the Uttar Pradesh Haj office got the saffron look immediately after the secretariat building frontage had been the same. The U.P Haj office did this instantaneously when it got to know that the BJP government had reduced the number of holidays allotted to the state-recognized madarsas in the 2018 calendar. This unexpected shift provoked the opposition Samajwadi Party which had accused the BJP government for indulging in such a "Blatant Saffronisation". One of the spokesman from the Samajwadi Party Mr. Sunil Singh had alleged that if the BJP government deemed to believe the saffron color as sacrosanct then it must not indulge in any of the activities pertaining to the politicisation of color and based on anything relating to blatant saffronisation. It was not only the spokesman of Samajwadi Party who opposed for this but also the spokesman of All India Shia Personal Law Board Mr. Yasoob Abbas who took a strong objection on the change of color and mentioned that this kind of things should be avoided. When the matter was brought to Minister of State for Minority Affairs Mr. Mohsin Raza's notice, he had cited out to PTI that Saffron is just a color and it symbolizes two things i.e., Ujala which means brightness and Urja which means energy.
