Eknath Khadse: Land deal case

Today, Corruption is the biggest problem of India and it is making the country weak. Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed their lives for country's independence but today politicians are misusing their powers. Common people are facing corruption in their daily life. There are many case such as Union Minister Giriraj Singh booked in land grabbing case and corruption cases against Chief Ministers of different States. In this country, similar repetitions and replications too would not constitute any offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

Recently the case, The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) that was investigating the land deal involving one of BJP’s senior leader and former Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse and the allegations of ‘misuse of power and position as minister’. The latest controversy involves the purchase of a three acre plot in Bosari (Pune) by his family which was reserved for the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). The most important thing is that he was a revenue minister and he had misuse the power and position because he bought the land around 3.5 crore but the market value of land was 41 crore.

Lastly, govt. has to bring new laws and take more and more step to reduce or control the corruption and on the power of the minister there should be control by the administrative body.
